Dr. Jenna accepts flute students of all ages and levels!

As a flute teacher, I am an advocate of the power of the arts in human connection, and I believe that every individual should have the opportunity to explore their inner creativity through music, regardless of initial playing level, opportunity, or career goals. Each student is an individual, and my teaching is tailored to the learning style and goals of each individual student. I help my students set challenging but achievable goals, and I understand the important role the teacher plays in nurturing self-confidence. 

My students often wonder why I ask more questions of them than they do of me. I want them to develop the ability to solve their own problems and become their own teachers by combining the pedagogical tools I use with the critical thinking skills they develop. It is my utmost goal to mentor students that can not only perform to their highest abilities, but can use music as a force for good in their lives and the lives of their community in every stage of their life.
